Data Protection

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your personal information. This document outlines what data we collect, how we use it, and how we ensure transparency through our WHOIS registry.

Last updated: May 2026

1. Information We Collect

When you register for an account, we collect the following personal information:

  • Account Details: Full Name, Email Address, Username, and Password (encrypted).
  • Academic Details: Student ID, University Name, and Department.
  • Contact Information: Phone Number (stored securely, partially masked on public platforms).
  • Technical Data: IP Addresses, browser user agents, and DNS management activity logs for security purposes.

2. Public WHOIS Registry

As a subdomain registrar, we maintain a public WHOIS registry to ensure accountability and prevent abuse. When you claim a subdomain, the following information is made publicly available in our registry:

  • Your Full Name and Username
  • Your University and Department
  • A masked version of your Phone Number (e.g. +8801XXXX5678)
  • Your Student ID and Account Creation Date

By claiming a subdomain, you explicitly consent to this information being publicly accessible for transparency purposes.

3. Data Security & Storage

We implement robust security measures to protect your data. All sensitive information, such as passwords, is heavily hashed and salted before storage. Authentication sessions are managed using secure, HTTP-only cookies and JWTs.

DNS records and associated network data are synced with Cloudflare's global network to provide you with secure, low-latency routing.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to third parties. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification with our partners.

We reserve the right to disclose personal information to law enforcement or relevant authorities if required by law, or to investigate reports of severe network abuse, phishing, or malware hosting.

If you have questions about our privacy practices or wish to request data deletion, please contact our administrative team.
